Plant Grapes Everywhere Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates are just a starting point...the cache is located within 1 mile. We hope you enjoy our first cache and checking out this place. Although plenty of people come here to walk their dogs or jog, it is NOT recommended to find this cache in the dark or when wearing sandals because of inherent sharp-object barriers nearby. Thanks goes out to bytemobile & oldbadger for clarifying the third waypoint.

The cache is located at N37 15.RDS, W121 58.SPR

"R" will be found at the starting point. Look to the NW and find a small railroad sign with a single number on it.
"R" = the number on that sign.

The second waypoint is N37 15.692, W121 58.460
"P" = the number of barrier posts located at the dead-end street.

The third waypoint is derived from the second waypoint - degrees and minutes are the same. Use the second waypoint's latitudinal seconds and add 19*P to get that of the third waypoint. Use the second waypoint's longitudinal seconds and add 46*P to get that of the third waypoint.
"D" = the number on the power pole minus 18,810.

The fourth waypoint is N37 15.ERE, W121 58.LME where
L=P-D
E=(R+D+P)-2P
M=P-L
"S" = the number of S's on the sign at this waypoint.

The cache is a standard ammo box. If anyone knows the history of these grapevines, please post the info in your log. We think they might be leftovers from the farms that were removed due to the building of an almost 10-year-old freeway.
