How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

DO NOT HUNT THIS CACHE AT THE COORDS ABOVE. THEY ARE TO THE CENTER OF THE RED CEDAR RIVER. THE CACHE YOU SEEK IS AT:

N44 46.ABC

W91 56.DEF

This is a poker run type cache. In order to find this one, you must first find the codes written on the inside cover of six mocros. The six micros are:

"A" long the Red Cedar GCKKA3

"B" tween the iver and the road GCKKA1

"C" down the trail GCKKAG

Deadwood GCKKAF

Edgewood GCKKAD

Five of a kind GCKKA8

Replace the letters above with the numbers found in the micros. Those coords will take you to the "dealers" cache.

Inside the "dealers" cache you will find sealed envelopes. Each envelope contains one card. Take one envelope for each micro you logged. Take the envelopes and cards home with you. Do not leave them in the cache.

Each card has a code written on it with the exception of one. It is a "wild" card. Email me with the cards you drew along with the codes. If you get the "wild" card, email me what card it is "supposed" to be along with the code "wild".

We are playing with muliple decks so it is possible to get five of a kind. Therefore, five aces is the highest hand possible and so on down to five dueces. After that, a royal flush wins and so on. Aves will only work for a straight on the high end. No A, 2, 3, 4,5.

Once all the hands are dealt OR the time limit has been reached (TBD) I will email the winner with the coords to the final cache. Winner takes all!! The cache and all it's contents!

In the event of a tie, I will email both players with coords to the final and an alternate. The final being the BIG cache and the alternate a secondary cache. Whichever cache they get to first, they keep!

Now, please limit one hand per geocaching name and no repeat hunts, no multiple hands. I want this to be as fair and fun for all who venture out.

Thanks for playing!
