Once upon a time, a King and Queen who lived in a beautiful country had a daughter. The King set aside a treasure for his daughter and her offspring, and hid it in the King’s Forest. When the King died, his daughter was given the title of Queen. She had in the meanwhile, married a Joker (who will always be a joker, not a King, because of some strange Kingdom rule).
The Queen has decided to will the treasure to the faithful and adventurous in the land, called Geocachers. This treasure is still “safely” locked away in the King’s Forest and is stocked and locked.
The challenge is that the Queen’s Jokers (being jokers and very much like Court Jesters) have taken the keys and hidden them in other caches in the larger GeoWorld called Winnipeg.
If you are an adventurer and would like to find the treasure, you must first find one of the two keys the Jokers have deposited in another cache as unofficial travel bugs. Watch this cache to find them. Then you can proceed to the exact co-ordinates attached to the keys and inherit part of the Kingdom Cache, replacing it with something similar or better so others in the great Land of Manitoba will have an inheritance too! Be careful, there are always Muggles about who desire to find, steal or destroy this treasure.
When you have found the treasure cache, unlocked it, and claimed your inheritance, you must lock it again and place the Joker’s key in your possession, labelled Joker Key#1, #2, in any other cache within the city of Winnipeg within two days.
Suggested Winnipeg caches
Please log it as placed in that cache as well as this one, so fellow cachers can retrieve it. Please play the Joker and place it far from the King’s Forest (but still in Winnipeg) if possible - only in emergencies use the closest one. Do not share the co-ordinate’s with others please, in photos or otherwise. Spoilers will be deleted.
It is a locked treasure box in another larger container to protect it from the elements. Contents will be a mystery til you get there…
