Gränsstenar som markerar en äldre gräns mellan Sverige och Danmark.
An old borderline between Sweden and Denmark.
English version below.Efter freden i Brömsebro 1645 markerades
riksgränsen mellan Sverige och Danmark genom att stenar
utplacerades i terrängen. I utkanten av Båstad kan man se rester av
denna gräns just där den passerar Stensån. Stenarna är ganska
obetydliga men på platsen finns en tavla så att man vet att man
kommit rätt. En öppen area där man rastar hundar finns i närheten.
Lådan är en halvliters glassburk insvept i en gul plastbag.After
the Brömsebro peace agreement in 1645 the borderline between Sweden
and Denmark was marked by stones, quite small ones. Close to
Båstad, near the small river of Stensån, you can see reminders of
this borderline. An open area used for dog-airing is close by. The
box is a half-litre ice-cream box wrapped in a yellow plastic bag.
