Povodi horni Strely patri k mym oblibenym mistum. Mirne kopcovita krajina, lesy se spoustou zvere, pastviny s kravami - pred intenzivni zemedelskou vyrobou byl tento kraj uchranen stavbou vodarenske nadrze Zlutice v 60tych letech.
Ke kostelu ve Skocich se da dostat pouze ze severu: na jizni a vychodni strane je prehrada, na zapade lesy, pastviny a zadne cesty (da se to projit z Touzimi, s obcasnym brodenim nebo prekracovanim Strely po padlych stromech). Jedete-li autem, cesta vede ze silnice Praha - Karlovy Vary (je tam ukazatel ke kostelu). Zaparkovat lze u kostela, cache je kousek po ceste nahoru. Blizko od cache je pekny vyhled na jih. Cache tvori zelene nabarvena nadoba typu L&L.
The watershed of upper Strela river is one of my favorite places. The small hills landscape contains woods with a lot of deer game and cow pastures - the other development was restricted because of the drinking water reservoir Zlutice, built in 1960s.
You can reach the Skoky church only from the North: South and East access is blocked by water, on the West there are only woods and pastures, no trails (it makes a nice off-trail day hike from Touzim). If you are coming by car, take a turn South from the main road Praha - Karlovy Vary (there is a sign pointing to the church). You can park your car next to the church, the cache is a short walk uphill. There is a nice view to the South near the cache site.
The cache is a green painted lock&lock type box.
