As far as insane caches that we have done so far... this one probably takes the cake for single traditional cache.

We had attempted this one other day... Actually, the intent that day was to just drive by and see what we were looking at. Ms. K had a pretty good idea of what was going to be required for it. Once we got there, Mr. K had to at least give it a shot. Wrong footwear (he even resorted to wearing mine!!!) Rain. And lack of backup caused us to scratch it and wait for a better day... which brings us to today!

Uncle JR & Kemmey agreed to head out with us after brunch today. We did make a quick call to Doxie, just wanting to make sure we were in the right starting place because, given the terrain, none of us wanted to have multiple false starts. SIDE NOTE: Both Uncle JR and our GPS's were off enough to have made a big difference on this one... hence the phone a friend. Anyways, once there, Mr. K hurried on ahead of us. Normally we are well prepared cachers and carry a pen. Unfortunately, halfway there, he realized he did not... so JR quickly started on after him. The boys made quick work of the 'trail.' Honestly, I probably would have attempted to follow too... had I not had to go to work right afterwards.

Mr. K sadly got hit in the head. Just about lost an eye. Yikes. Got him right on the eyebrow but we quickly had him patched up.

This is an awesome cache, but not for the faint of heart! Oh, and can I say, the chances of this one getting muggled or going missing seem to be extremely slim... so it's most likely there... the question is... where is there...

I feel that I now have the right to log this cache. KKhill asked us if we wanted to tag along to assist with the find when we got a little nudging from doxietrekker4 as to the actual location of the cache. So now we knew what we had to do but were scoping out how to do it. When we came up with the plan one of the K's started the long trek to the cache. When he got it in sight and was just a few feet away he realized he didn't have a pen to sign with and due to the 4 star terrain he didn't want to make the trek twice, so I (unclejr) started the trek to the cache as well with pen in hand. Together with this team effort we got both of our names on the log book. TFTC and thanks to kkhill for the help. Sorry Mr. K for your battle scar. Luckily Nurse K knew what she was doing. SL

Not quite ready to submit a DNF as I have only made a first attempt with no luck and a bit of confusion. The coords for GZ don't seem to fit the description or the ratings, so there has to be more to this one than I was seeing today. After reading some of the logs, I hope to return and scout out some alternatives even if only to spot it as not sure the bod will accommodate the four-star ratings, but not giving up on that either. Thanks for the challenge.
