Pronounced HAWK, the name of this cache comes from a friend who found his first cache and helped me hide his first.Should be very winter friendly.......I think.
Another great spot in Interstate State park. The sunset's from the cache stash spot are amazing! The views of the river below and the MN town of Taylor's Falls are pretty incredible as well!
Please note: We stashed the cache just off an animal trail that we accessed from the main park trail. Please do the same. The cache is within 40 feet of the animal trail.
If my coords are right, it's equadistant from either the Horizon Rock trail head OR the Meadow Valley trail head. Both are great trails! However, IF you must hurry, well, there's an option for that as well although I must say I'd prefer you didn't.
