A cache
A cache consiste numa caixa metálica triangular, envolvida num
saco de plástico.
Caso não encontre forma alternativa de chegar à cache, pode
deixar o veículo em N38º43.896' W009º14.598' e partir a pé daí. Uma
dica rápida, circulem à esquerda da grande vedação existente no
local.
O local
Uma característica interessante do local da cache é o facto de
perto dela estar um marco geodésico caído. O porquê escapa-me, mas
está outro no local que é bem visível. Em volta da localização
desta cache estão também vários poços de respiração do aqueducto

Do topo do monte podemos ver, a Sudeste, Monsanto, afinal o
local por excelência de geocaches na zona de Lisboa. Para lá
avistamos a ponte 25 de Abril e o Cristo Rei. E num dia minimamente
límpido a Serra da Arrábida estará ao fundo. Virando um pouco mais
a Oeste, está o vale do Jamor com o Estádio Nacional e a foz do
Tejo com o farol do bugio no meio. Podemos seguir em parte a Costa
do Sol e olhando para Noroeste veremos a Serra de Sintra. O ponto
em comum de todos estes locais é que são casa de muitas geocaches.
Monsanto, Sintra e Arrábida são provavelmente os locais em Portugal
com maior concentração de geocaches, e daqui vêmo-los a todos. Boas
caçadas.

The cache
The cache is a metalic triangular box wrapped in a plastic
bag.
If you can't find a better way to approach the spot, you can
leave your vehicle at N38º43.896' W009º14.598' and walk from there.
A quick tip, go by the left side of the big fence that exists
there.
The Location
An interesting feature of the cache's location is the fact that
nearby is a fallen trig marker. Why eludes me, since there is
another one in place and perfectly visible and standing.All around
this cache's location are several breathing shafts for the Aqueduct
of Águas Livres. For more information on the Aqueduct why not

From the top of the hill you can see, looking Southeast,
Monsanto, the main location of geocaches in the area of Lisbon.
Beyond you spot the 25 de Abril Bridge and Critso Rei. If the day
is clear you can see the Arrábida Hills in the background. Looking
further West we have the Jamor valley with its stadium and the
Tagus River mouth with the Bugio lighthouse in the middle. You can
partly see the extent of the Costa do Sol and looking Northwest
you'll see the Sintra Hills. The common place in all these spots is
that they house a lot of geocaches. Monsanto, Sintra and Arrábida
are probably the spots in Portugal with the bigger concentration of
caches and from here you see them all. Nice hunting.
