Resting Place (Canterbury) Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Bear_Left: Ah, well, it had a good run and was enjoyed by many, but now it's gone to where all good caches go eventually... taken and probably thrown away by some antisocial brat!

This is a lovely area and deserves a cache to bring people here to see it, so we hope a new cache pops up nearby soon!

Geocache Description:

A walk through the Otukaikino wetlands, just north of Christchurch.

The coordinates above are those of Tanemahuta, the god of the forest. About 92m from him (as the pukeko flies), you'll find two 400ml plastic containers, well hidden under a türu, to which the title is partly an allusion.
There is no need to leave the walkway at any time, and please do not do so!
More details on the reserve can be found here.
