El Pedraforca és el cim més representatiu del Berguedà i un dels més emblemàtics de Catalunya. La seva esvelta silueta està formada per dos Pollegons, separats per la característica enforcadura. El punt més alt de la muntanya és el pic Occidental, situat en el Pollegó Superior, amb una alçada de 2.498 m., coordenades N 42º 14.388 E 001º 42.188. Molt a prop del cim és on hi ha amagat aquest tresor.
A les canals, arestes, parets i agulles del Pedraforca, som molts que mentre practiquem l’excursionisme, l’escalada o l’alpinisme hi hem après a estimar la muntanya. Seguint aquest esperit he buscat la localització d’aquest tresor. És per això que el terreny per on cal moure’s pot resultar DUR i DIFÍCIL pels no avesats a l’alta muntanya, especialment amb neu, glaç o boira. Però tanmateix molt gratificant.
Per arribar-hi cal anar per la C-1411 fins el km.113, entre Cercs i Guardiola. Agafar la B-400 fins al km.17, just passat Saldes. Desviar-se a la dreta, en direcció al Massís del Predraforca, per en uns 5 km., arribar a l’aparcament del Mirador, on es pot deixar el vehicle. Des d’aquí, en uns 15 minuts s’arriba al Refugi Lluís Estasen, coordenades N 42º 14.710 E 001º 42.984. Ara hi ha dues opcions: Pujar primer al cim principal per el itinerari clàssic de la Canal del Verdet (entre 3 i 4 hores), no exempt de dificultat, però molt atractiu. O be pel camí que va al cim passant per l’enforcadura, a traves de la tartera –és el camí normal de baixada-, que resulta més ràpid (entre 2 i 3 hores), però menys interessant.
Per cercar el tresor, cal deixar el camí principal de baixada del cim en les coordenades N 42º 14.366 E 001º 42.189, a 2.470 m. d’alçada, a 41,5 metres lineals, fins arribar a l’objectiu, que és en la base d’un roc isolat, a 2.458 m. En aquest tram, que es força espectacular, fan falta les mans per progressar en algun punt.
Contingut original del tresor: Cofre amb sorpresa, gorra, clauer, jocs de daus, baldufa, bola d’aigua amb vaques, tarjetes pelaroques.

Pedraforca is the more representative mountain of Berguedà region, and one of the more important in Catalunya. Her slender outline is made by two tops, separated by a characteristic pitchfork. The top is in N 42º 14.388 E 001º 42.188, witch is 2.498 m. The cache is very nearby.
In the paths and walls of Pedraforca, lots of people while they are rambling, climbing or mountaineering, they now learn to love the mountain. To reach the cache you must follow this way, witch is HARD and DIFFICULT for the beginners. However it is very wonderful.
The reach the cache you must take C-1411 road, until km.113, between Cercs and Guardiola. Take the B-400 until km.17, passed Saldes. Turn right towards Massis del Pedraforca. After 5 km. you arrive at Mirador parking. Where you can leave the care. It takes 15 minutes to arrive at Lluis Estasen refuge, coordinates N 42º 14.710 E 001º 42.984. Now two ways: You can climb first at the top by the classic path Canal del Verdet (3 or 4 hours). This path is a little bit difficult but very wonderful. Or you can also go by the path witch goes towards the top by the pitchfork, that is the usually descending path. It is a faster way (2 or 3 hours), but less interesting.
To find the cache, you have to leave the main descending path of the top in coordinates N 42º 14.366 E 001º 42.189, at 2.470 m, at 41,5 lineal meters by the top. Follow the west crest for 51,6 lineal meters, up to the cache. It is situated on the base of an isolated rock at 2.458 m. You will need your hands to bring forward this spectacular section.
