This cache is located on the summit of Kidder Mountain in New Ipswich, New Hampshire. The terrain is fairly easy. There aren't any real steep sections. The cache is a little over a mile from parking. Parking Coordinates: N42.46.391 W071.53.958
To get to this cache, after leaving the parking lot follow the Wapack Trail clearly marked with yellow triangles on the trees. Watch for the sign for Kidder Mountain. This trail will be clearly marked with blue triangles. This will take you to the summit. Kidder Mountain has some of the greatest view in Southern New Hampshire. The summit is a great place for a picnic. It's and open summit with a meadow, blueberries, a stonewall, and plenty of Christmas trees. The foliage in the fall is beautiful. The day we placed the cache, Lil'Angel (5 yrs) and I had a nice picnic ourselves. Take in consideration that Lil'Angel is an avid hiker even at five years old, you decide if your children will be able to hike a little over a mile over fairly easy terrain.
