First you need to read through the Bible and answer the following questions. Note that the questions only apply to the new Finnish translation (Kirkkoraamattu 1992).
- The legendary UNIX jargon term "foo" occurs three times in the Bible, but where in it? To get the value of A, take the average of those verse numbers and add 0.3333333 to the value. Check your result from the actual Book. Some sources give a false result.
- Jesus is likely the most well-known figure in the New Testament. In how many separate verses does his name appear in form "Jeesus"? Let the number of verses be B. The method of finding the verses should be no different from the finding of A.
- Tarantino's legendary movie Pulp Fiction presents a reference to a verse in the Bible. Let the number of words in that verse be C.
- One particular verse in the Bible is considered to be the cornerstone of Christianity, or the verse that best reflects the message of the Gospels. In the same Book where this verse is found, Jesus is called twice (in two separate verses) with a name that only appears in one chapter of the Bible. Let the average of those verse numbers be D.
Now, go to the initial coordinates. Your next task is to walk around the church dome and measure the travelled distance. Walk as close to the church's exterior walls as possible. Let the travelled distance, rounded to the nearest 50 meters, be E.
