The cache is located in a village south of Nelson.
The cache was placed with permission and is located on the historic grounds of very historic New Zealand landmark.
The landmark is the oldest continuous used one of its kind in New Zealand. It is open during the daylight hours and, along with the grounds, is well worth a visit. Be sure to look for the 'footprints' on the ceiling.
The cache site will offer a great view of the surrounding area.
The cache is a 400ml camo-painted container. It initially contained a log book, pencil, one 'signature' item and numerous trading items.
