Chase Lake is an enjoyable, little-known park in the Edmonds area. Easy terrain, suitable for kids, not too hard to find.
This cache placement was done by our whole family. We had fun initially scouting out the area with our 5-yr-old and 3-yr-old, then hiding the box in various locations to see what we thought was best. It was a whole different adventure when it came time to decide which of our toys should go in the box for others to take .
Terrain is easy to walk (some trail, some grass), but part of the trail can get pretty boggy & muddy, so bring boots for kids in winter, or make them avoid the wet spots (yeah, right). You're looking for a .50 cal ammo box.
Once you find the cache, please do these things:
*Take the box some distance off before opening
*Sign the log
*Be sure to re-hide it well
This cache was muggled several months ago, and I've recently brought it online. Might want to be careful about putting travel bugs and the like in here until it's been re-established as a stable cache.
Enjoy!
