Geocache Description:

The Lake Hills Greenbelt stretches from Phantom Lake on the south to Larsen Lake on the north. A trail system connects the two lakes going through a variety of habitats. The cache is west of Larsen Lake, alongside the boardwalk that snakes through wetlands as it heads toward Sammamish High School.

The cache is a film canister that is alongside the trail.  There is no need to take more than half a step off the trail.  Enjoy the wetlands.

After a long spell of rain, the area will fill with water, sometime overflowing onto 148th.  The closest parking is at the Blueberry Lake Farmhouse on 148th Ave SE at N47 36.198 W122 08.555.  In the summertime, flowers, fruit, and vegetables are sold here.  For a longer walk, park at the Lake Hills Greenbelt Ranger Station on SE 16th and 156th Ave SE.

Walk on the path through the blueberry fields to avoid the heavy traffic on 148th.  Carefully cross the street at the crosswalk with the traffic lights.
