This quarry is a popular place on a hot summer day so watch out for muggles!

Fort Knox was mined from this mountain, if not this quarry. The easiest way to get here is take Rt. 1A in Frankfort. Turn at the boat landing. At the 4-way intersection, go straight 1/3 mile. At N44° 35.544 W068° 52.792 you can park (some rough road before the parking spot) and continue to hike the road to the quarry. The cache is placed in an out-of-the-way spot in an otherwise busy place. Some of the items to start off the cache are a drink coozie, a couple of Hot Wheels cars, sunscreen and insect wipes, a level, a word search book, home 1st aid book and my sig. item.
