This is located just above the Upper North Rim entrance to Watkins Glen State Park only about 2 miles out of town

AND..............

if you are lucky enough to find them in sight, there is now a herd of Elk located along either side of the road (as you leave town) at

Eagle Ridge Elk Park at the Glen, a new enterprise being developed.

If you have time, walk down the lower road and enjoy the lake and fishing.

If the weather is warm, you might want your bug spray, there will be  but this is a very short walk from the car so it shouldn't be a problem.
