Fourth in a series of caches inspired by the book Peaceful Places in Indianapolis and Surrounding Areas-A Pocket Guide for Seekers, written by Sue Alexander. This cache is unusal in location but sometimes peace can be found in the heart of all the activity. In addition to the fact that it is hard to get a good signal while downtown,
mugglers are afoot and plentiful in the area so please be observant in finding
and replacing.
Monument Circle is the center of downtown Indianapolis activites, including the annual strewberry festival, ice cream social and many more. Even thought it is a very busy location it seems to catch-up those who stop and not want to let them go. I know many times it was hard for me the return to work after eating lunch on the steps.
This is a wonderful location, especially at Christmas time when it is also the home to the worlds tallest christmas tree.
Additionally the home of the Colonel Eli Lilly Civil War Museum is located here. This museum is one of the best keep secrets of Indianapolis and is well worth a visit. It is free but has limited hours. Call 317-232-7615 or visit www.indianacivilwar.org for more information
Important Info:
1.This cache is located in a very heavy traffic area so a part of the challege in addition to finding it will be doing it unobserved.
2. The cache is a magnic key holder.
3. There is a $ coin in for the FTF, no other trade items
4. Please replace carefully so none of the cache shows.
5. No climbing is required by normal adults to access the cache. In fact sit down might help.
6. I would encourage posting photographys.
