Moderate Hike over old Colonial footpath and deep into the heart of the Olde Haunted Dogtown settlement set high on the hills.
This cache is best reached from either Olde Dogtown Square, or from the Olde Bass Rocks Rail Station. The cache is located just off the footpath called "Path to Beaver Dam" which runs between the Babson Cooperage museum in Rockport and Dogtown Road in Gloucester.
The path is well worn over several hundred years of foot traffic, but it is easy to get lost along this path.
The cache is a green plastic ammo can with tons of stuff for kids, toys, etc. The cache is near the intersection of trail 11, and you can do a lot of exploring from this point.
