Stage 1 : Here I stand
N1 = 48° 12.804'
E1 = 016° 18.436'
You are standing in front of a house which has an identical
inscription on both sides of the entrance. This inscription
contains a two-letter abbreviation. Find out which word the first
letter stands for, take the second letter of that word and convert
it to a number (A=1, B=2, ..) . Let us call this number A .
The next but one building to the west is very colorful. Count the
different colours, this will give you the number B . (If you have
sharp eyes and detect nuances within a section : those don't count.
Take only the number of sections.)
Stage 2 : Former main place of residence
N2 = N1 + A - 30*B
E2 = E1 + 36*A
You should be standing in front of the corner of a building. Look
up, you will find identical plates with a number on both sides.
This number is C.
Looking to the right, you will see green things. How many ? This
number is D.
Face the corner again. Now turn around 180° . Across the street you
will see a word that describes a region (this word is repeated
several times.) Who would you turn to for tales from this region ?
The first and last letter of this person's last name are identical.
(Hint : it is NOT the letter 'S' !) Convert the letter in the usual
way (A=1, B=2, ..) to get the number E.
Stage 3 : Place of torture
N3 = N2 - 14*E + C
E3 = E2 + 60*(D + E) - C
Looking north, you will see a large building that occupies the
whole block (at least on the street you are standing on.). Search
for the name of the cache on this building. A four-letter word
precedes it. Converting the last letter of this word to a number
will give you F .
Stage 4 : Officially
N4 = N3 - D
E4 = E3 - 18* F
Look for a Roman numeral. How many letters does it contain ? The
number of letters is G .
Count the steps to the entrance (including the uppermost platform).
This number is H .

The cache is a glass tube with a plastic strip attached to
it.

Stadtcache, kinderwagen- und hundetauglich. Zwischen den einzelnen
Stationen gute Verbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.
Bei Stage 1 und 2 werden Fragen gestellt, die man entweder mit
Allgemeinbildung oder der Hilfe eines "Google-Heimarbeiters" (tm
M.W.) lösen muß !
Einheit für die Variablen A,B,C,...,H = 1/1000 Minute .
Stage 1 : Hier stehe ich
N1 = 48° 12.804'

Du befindest Dich vor einem Hauseingang. Links und rechts innerhalb
des Eingangs gibt es eine identische Aufschrift; diese enthält eine
zweibuchstabige Abkürzung. Finde heraus, für welches Wort der erste
Buchstabe der Abkürzung steht. Konvertiere den zweiten Buchstaben
des so gefundenen Wortes auf die übliche Art (A=1, B=2 ..) in eine
Zahl, diese Zahl sei A.
Das übernächste Gebäude stadtauswärts ist sehr farbig. Wieviele
verschiedene Farben zählst Du ? (Von einem Adlerauge vielleicht
erkennbare Farbnuancen innerhalb eines Abschnitts zählen nicht mit!
Nur die Anzahl der Abschnitte ist gefragt.) Diese Anzahl sei B
.
Stage 2 : Früherer Hauptwohnsitz
N2 = N1 + A - 30*B
E2 = E1 + 36*A
Nun solltest Du vor der Ecke eines Gebäudes stehen. Schau hinauf,
auf beiden Seiten wirst Du eine identische Zahl finden. Diese Zahl
sei C .
Zu deiner Rechten gibt es grüne Objekte. Wieviele ? Die Anzahl sei
D .
Wende Dich wieder der Hausecke zu. Dann drehe Dich um 180° um. Auf
der anderen Straßenseite wirst Du in mehrfacher Ausführung ein Wort
sehen, das eine Region beschreibt. An wen wendet man sich für
Geschichten aus dieser Region ? Der Nachname dieser Person hat
identische Anfangs- und Endbuchstaben. (Hinweis : es handelt sich
NICHT um den Buchstaben 'S' !) Konvertiere den Buchstaben auf die
übliche Art (A=1, B=2, ..) und Du erhältst die Zahl E.
Stage 3 : Ort der Qual
N3 = N2 - 14*E + C
E3 = E2 + 60*(D + E) - C
Richtung Norden blickst Du auf ein Gebäude, das (entlang der
Straße, auf der Du dich befindest) den ganzen Häuserblock einnimmt.
Suche auf diesem Gebäude nach dem Cache-Namen. Vor selbigem steht
ein Wort mit vier Buchstaben, konvertiere den letzten auf die
übliche Art und Du erhältst F .
Stage 4 : Offiziell
N4 = N3 - D
E4 = E3 - 18* F
Aus wievielen Buchstaben besteht die römische Zahl ? Die Anzahl der
Buchstaben sei G .
Zähle die Stufen zum Eingang, inklusive der obersten Plattform.
Diese Zahl sei H .

Der Cachebehälter ist ein Glasröhrchen mit daran befestigtem
Kabelbinder zum leichteren Herausziehen.
WICHTIG !! Bitte den Cache wieder so zurücklegen, daß sich der
Nächste nicht die Finger brechen muß, um ihn zu extrahieren !
Der Kabelbinder darf und soll ein kleines Stück
heraussschauen.
