My first cache! It is a tuperware box with a blue cover located at the top of a steep hill near a couple of towers and dishes approximately 300 feet higher than the foot of the hill. Please consider the fact that this is a pretty difficult cache, however it is possible. There are two ways to get to the cache at the top.
The first way is to go to Thousand Oaks Boulevard between Grey Rock Road and Forest Cove Lane. There are three streets that go north between there: Rista, Ironwood, and Tenneyson (Silver Valley goes the other way). Go north on those streets until they stop at Woodbrook Drive. Between Tenneyson and Ironwood on Woodbrook there is a small park with rocks, trees, and a border of oleanders. From there, hike up the hill to the towers (they can be seen easily at the foot of the hill) using the storm drains running horizontally as a guide. Eventually you will get to the top. This route is shorter but steeper and you have to travel through bushes. You will probably have to travel on foot if you take this route.
The second way is much longer and not as steep (but still hard). It is possible to bike on this route but it is an advanced ride. From Thousand Oaks Boulevard, go north at Grey Rock Road and go up a couple of small hills until you reach the top. Keep going until you reach Ridgeway Drive and turn left (If Grey Rock turns into Founainwood, you've gone too far). The street will immediately turn right. Look for a narrow dirt trail on the left-hand side of the road before the street turns right back to Grey Rock. Dismout your bike (if you are using one) and follow the trail, go over a storm drain, and follow the trail on the other side until you see a road with a gate at the bottom leading to a street (the gate will most likely be closed). Turn left on the road and go up the steep road a while until it turns right and a dirt trail along a ridge will be on your left. Follow it until the trail ends at the towers.
