This cache is in an abandoned gold mine, which is part of a public walkway. You will need 2 reliable torches (one as a back up for the first) in order to explore the mine and find the cache.
Park at S 42° 33.152 E 171° 20.913 and follow the walking track to the given co-ordinates (the entrance to the mine tunnel).
A map of the tunnel showing where the cache is hidden is included as a photo on this web site. The cache is invisable from 0m and is hidden at head height.
The other two pictures are spoilers - one of the tunnel entrance and a give-away spoiler showing the actual hiding spot of the cache.
This cache is suitable for children, PROVIDED they are DIRECTLY supervised by an adult. The walkway is a loop track, so will take you back to your vehicle if you keep following it.
This cache was inspired by a previous cache, "On the Woods" by Nick and Bernadette, which used to be on this same walking track.
Despite being a "Small" cache, there is room for small swaps. The cache has a couple of swap items in it, as well as the usual logbook and pencil.
