Langdon Hall Country House is one of those 5 star hotels that most of us can only ever dream about staying at.  It's the sort of place that is frequented by Hollywood stars when they are in the area.  Construction of the original estate was completed in 1902 and totalled more than 25,000 square feet.  It was sold by family members and converted to a "hotel and spa" in 1989.

Today, Landon Hall is situated on a 32 acre parcel of land.  They maintain 12KM of hiking trails on the land behind the main hotel, and encourage locals to make use of the trails also.  The trails are suitable for hiking and cycling.  Fido is allowed, but try to keep him on a leash.

This is the second of two caches we have hidden in the area.  The coordinates provided on the Geocaching.com cache page do NOT provide the location of this cache.  To determine the coordinates for this cache, first obtain the 4 digit code from the Langdon Trails 1 cache.  Divide this number by 1000 and add to the coordinates below:

N43 14.141   W80 13.678

This cache is hidden about 5m from the trail.  Cache is above ground so should be quite winter friendly.
