Geocache Description:

This is a recipe cache located in the Piper Farm land in Sudbury. Bushwhacking is only required for the last 50 feet or so. To log this cache a recipe for a dessert must be sent to the cache owner.

My favorite hobbies are geocaching, cooking, and house repair. With this cache, we combine two of these hobbies. Since I couldn’t find a fixer upper in the middle of the woods…that means geocaching and cooking!

This is a simple cache, no multi’s and no puzzles. The coordinates take you straight to the final cache. The trail is nice and wide and clear, with a great area to hike and enjoy. But the cache is also sweet. In order to log the cache, you must supply a unique, edible, dessert recipe. Please just write the name of the recipe in the log, and then e-mail the recipe itself to me (and yes, I will test it out!). You must send a recipe in order to log this cache as found. If you found the cache and want one of the other recipes listed in the log, just drop me an e-mail and I’ll forward you a copy. This way, no one has to copy recipe cards out in the woods. The recipes will be published in some form in the future (web site?).

The cache is a midsize plastic cookie container. It starts out with cooking related trade items such as magic dish towels, pastry brush, spoon holder, tea ball, and so on, as well as a very few toys (not much room) for kids. Please try to stick with the cooking theme for trade items.

Parking is at: N 42 22.724 , W 71 24.153. A trail head sign at the parking area will guide you to the main trail.

A Starbucks card is in the cache for the FTF.
