Geocache Description:

Just of Forest road but dont park there.Try N51.36.067 E000.00.756.quite muddy now and will be over grown in the summer.

The cache is dedicated the famous waterworks roundabout that’s always on the traffic news for delays.A406 north circular road. The WaterWorks is home to some of the rarest wildlife in the region, including: 322 species of plants, 2 of which are locally scarce. Grass snakes,common frogs, common toads and smooth newts. 2 Colonies of water vole. 25 species of breeding birds including the tree sparrow, song thrush, linnet and reed bunting. Kingfishers, that breed nearby, are regular visitors to the site for feeding. Over a quarter of the species of dragonfly found in Britain. Rare winter visitors including gadwall, teal and the grey heron. This cache is quite close to a main road but they will not know you are there because of the trees and bushes. There are four to find in these woods and this is probably the hardest in the summer time. Expect it to be quite hard to get to and the GPs might play tricks with you but there is a small opening when you get to the cache site. These are well established woods with some great wild life. No mugles goner find you here.
