De cache is verandert ! This cache has been changed! op 13-02-2011 at 13-02-2011 De route die u gaat lopen is ongeveer 9km lang en komt langs het grenskerkmonument. Dit is een kerk waar katholieken vroeger hun toevlucht zochten omdat ze in de noordelijke (protestante) Nederlanden hun geloof niet mochten belijden. Deze kerk is neergezet in het toenmalige Duitse gebied rondom Weert om de Brabantse katholieken toch de gelegenheid te geven hun geloof te beoefenen. Verder voert deze cache je door de Hughterheide (voornamelijk naaldbos waar je de havik en boomvalk kunt aantreffen), Hughterbroek en Weerterbos ( waar veel water en vennetjes in voorkomen, kortom het is een moerassig bos waar het soms dus ook wat modderig kan zijn). Het is nergens nodig om de paden te verlaten alleen de cache ligt op ongeveer 7 meter van het pad af. U kunt op de cachelocatie komen via de A2 Eindhoven –Maastricht afslag 37 Budel. Aan het einde van de afslag ga je linksaf richting industriegebied Maarheeze. Hou richting Den Engelsman aan. Parkeer uw auto op N 51° 18.187 E005° 38. 249. Hier aangekomen zie je een informatiebord . Neem de naam van het gebied en tel de waarden van de tweede en vierde de letter van dit woord bij elkaar op ( A=1, Z=26) , Vermenigvuldig dit aantal x 4. Dus (letter 2 + letter 4 ) * 4 = A A=.......... hoe lang is het geleden dat dit gebied uit stuifzand bestond? Neem het aantal jaar en deel dit door 4 .Dit is B B=.......... Ga nu verder naar WP1: N51° 18. A+121 E005° 38. (B*20)+16 Hier vind je een hangslot Neem het middenste cijfer van de drie cijfers Dit is C. C=….. Ga vanaf hier verder naar WP2: N 51° 18. A-53 E 005° 39.C*12 Hier aangekomen sta je voor een houten slagboom, die met kettingen vastgemaakt is. Tel hier de totale hoeveelheid schakels van alle kettingen. Dus schakels van ketting1 + schakels van ketting2 enz….. Dit is D. D= ……. Ga verder naar WP3: N 51° 18. (3*D)+320 E 05° 39. 120*C Op deze plek aangekomen kun je even gaan zitten en van de omgeving genieten, tevens nu je hier toch bent kun je tellen hoeveel druiventrossen je ziet. Dit is E. E=………. Tel ook meteen maar alle bankjes binnen het lage muurtje, dit is F. F=……… Ga nu verder naar WP4: N 51° 18. (F*B)-26 E 005° 40. (E*A)+1 Nu staat u bij een maatlat, wat is hier het hoogste getal wat op deze schaalverdeling staat. Dit is G G=…… Hier is ook vlakbij het telefoonnummer te vinden van het waterschap Peel en Maasvallei, wat zijn hiervan de laatste 3 cijfers. Dit is H. H=…….. Ga nu naar WP5: N 51° 18. H+1 E 005° 40 . G-2187 Hier sta je bij een soortgelijk object als bij WP 4 maar nu moet je op zoek naar het jaartal waarin dit object gemaakt is. Dat is I. I=…….. Ga vanaf hier via: N 51° (F+1). 921 E005° 40. 542 Naar WP6 op : N 51° (F+1).( I - 1446 ) E 005° 40. ( G - 2281 ) Eenmaal op het WP aangekomen ga je op zoek naar een groen nummer op een kunstof paaltje. Dat is J. J=……….. Ga van hier uit naar WP7: N 51° 17. (10*J) + 9 E 005° 39.(7*H)-3 Hier aangekomen vind je een artikelnummer, het eerste getal van een 3 cijferig artikelnummer is K K=…………. Ga naar WP8: N 51° 17.(225*K)-9 E 005° 39.(A-F-E-6). Ga hier op zoek naar een blauw getal op een gele achtergrond. Dit is L L=………… Nu heb je alle punten om de cache te vinden . De cache ligt op : N 51°.17 (10*L)+B + C+ D +E E 005° 38.G-H-I-(K*F)+B ENGLISCH DESCRIPTION This mulit-cache is approximately 9 km long and it will lead you past the grenskerkmonument (a monument of a church on a border). This is a chruch were Roman Catholics used to come ( in the 16th century)to seek refuge because the weren’t allowed to profess their faith in the Northern protestant Netherlands ( Today these are the Netherlands and the Southern Netherlands are todays Belgium). This church was put down in the then German territory round about Weert in order to give the roman Catholics of Brabant the opportunity to practise theire beliefs. This cache also leads you through the Hughterheide ( this is mainly pine forrest were you can come accros the hawk ), Hughterbroek and Weerterbos (here there is a lot of water and little lakes/ponds, shortly this is a swampy forrest where it can be sometimes a little muddy). It is not necessary to leave the path, only the cache is approximately 7 m from the path. You can reach the cacheside via the A2 Eindhoven-Maastricht. Use Exit 37 Budel. At the end of the exit turn left (industrial area Maarheeze) and keep follwowing the signpost for the industrial area. Park your car at N 51° 18. 187 E 005° 38.249. At this point you see a information sign. Take the name from this area and add the values of the second and the fourth letter of the word to each other ( A=1, Z=26) , Multiply that number by 4 so (letter 2 + letter 4 ) * 4 = A A=.......... How long has it been since this area was shifting sands? Take number of years divided by 4 This is B B=.......... Go to wp1: N51° 18. A+121 E 005° 38. ( B*20) + 16 Here you’ll find a padlock. On this barrier you’ll see a few metal chains. How many links in total do all of the chains have. So the links of chain 1+ links of chain2 etc……. This is D D=………. Go to wp3: N 51° 18.( 3 *D)+320 E 005° 39. 120*C Here you can rest and enjoy the surrounding area’s. Meanwhille you can count the clusters of grapes.
