The purpose of this cache is to provide a convenient portal
for Travel Bugs that want to head to Tasmania to get there via a
trip on the Spirit of Tasmania departing from Station Pier in Port
Melbourne.
In the neighbouring area, you'll find a number of restaurants,
pubs, coffee shops and Rex Hunt's Fish & Chips. Those looking
to go by public transport will find the 109 Tram easiest.
However it’s also a normal cache to log and do swaps as usual.
It's a 10L bucket, so bring what you like with you to swap.
It should be fairly secure from Muggles but please make sure
it’s well hidden again.
To make it fair for everyone, if you're taking Travel Bugs I'd
ask if you could follow the following rules:
- Leave as many TB's as you like.
- Place the TB’s in the appropriate bag so that it’s easier for
those in a rush:
a. Travel Bugs Bound for Tasmania
b. Travel Bugs Bound for Mainland Australia
- Note the TB name & mission in the log so others will know
if they can help them on their way.
- Don't forget to log your TB's with your cache log.
