Geocache Description:

S 45° 52.182 E 170° 35.850 An easy "drive by cache" able to be done in all conditions. Placed with help from The O bloom.

The Albatross.

One of the more famous residents of the Otago Peninsula are the Royal Albatroses, with a wing span of 4 metres. These birds nest amongst the grasses of Taiaroa heads some 20 odd ks further on. The cache is located close to a albatross cutout made by the late John Noakes the famous bus stop painter.

Due to the close proxitmity to the School this is best found outside School hours.
