The end position of this cache is a place in Risskov(Ris Forrest), which is located just north of Aarhus centrum. The forrest is a recreative area for the city, so there always lots of people here.
I have made an extra effort to place the cache far away from the largest paths. Therefore the cache, can be somewhat diffficult to find, as the signal is not that strong in between the trees and the terrain can be challenging depending on the direction you approch from. As the crow flies, the route from start to end is approx. 2km.
On the second of october 1951 a meteorite exploded in the atmosphere above Denmark. Two of the pieces where found in Aarhus. One of them landed in Risskov and the other landed in, what was then Aarhus Tømmerhandel (lumberyard), where the Nobelpark is now located.
The two pieces, which weighs 720 grams total, are kept at the geological museum in Copenhagen. Besides the meteorite in Aarhus, there has only been found a few metorites in Denmark.
To find the cache, you must visit the to crashsites for the Aarhus meteor. You start in Nobelparken - on the coordinate there is an informationboard, here you can get an idea of how big the lumberyard used to be. Precisely where the piece landed I unfortunally dont know.
The informationboard is placed next to a building which has a four digit buildingnumber, what is this number? (A)
On the coordinate N: 56 10.(A-1013), E:010 13.(A-843) you will find a large rock with an inscription stating that this the place, where århus Stenen(Rock) landed. How many letters are there in the third line? (B) And what time did it land? (C) (4 digits)
The cache is located at: N: 56 10.(B+768) E: 010 13.(C-982)
The container is not that big, so tradeitems has to be small, the opening is approx. five centimeters in diameter. Please dont trade the Silica gel bags, they are there to keep the cache dry.

Slutpositionen for denne cache er et sted i Risskov, som ligger lidt nord for århus centrum. Skoven fungerer som rekreativt område for byen, så der er stort set altid masser af mennesker i den. Jeg har derfor gjort mig umage for at placere cachen langt væk fra store stier. Det betyder så også at den er blevet noget svær at finde, da signalet ikke er så stærk inde imellem træerne og at terrænnet kan være udfordrende afhængigt af hvilken vej man kommer fra. I fugleflugt er ruten fra start til slut ca. 2 km.
Den 2. oktober 1951 eksploderede en meteor i atmosfæren over Danmark. To af stykkerne blev efterfølgende fundet i århus. Det ene faldt ned i Risskov, det andet i den daværende århus Tømmerhandel, hvor Nobelparken nu ligger. De to stykker, der til sammen vejer 720 g, opbevares i dag på geologisk museum i København. Udover meteoren i århus er der kun fundet ganske få meteorer i Danmark. For at finde cachen, skal du besøge de to nedslagsteder for århus stenen.
Du starter I Nobelparken - på koordinatet findes en informationstavle, her kan du få en fornemmelse af, hvor stort et område tømmerhandlen i sin tid dækkede. Præcis hvor meteorstykket landede, ved jeg desværre ikke. Tavlen står op ad en bygning, som har et firecifret bygningsnummer, hvad er dette nummer? (A).

Cachen er ikke kæmpestor så byttetingene skal være små, åbningen er ca. fem cm. i diameter. Byt venligst ikke Silica gel poserne, de bruges til at holde cachen tør.
