Geocache Description:

Small Cache located in a unique spot. My first cache in the Rocks was lost to urban expansion on Goose Creek. Hopefully this cache won’t meet the same fate!

Depending on where you want to start, where you want to go or how you want to approach here are various parking areas available:

N39 00.911 W77 32.556
N39 00.287 W77 31.950
N39 00.631 W77 31.973

This is a series of caches located right in the middle of development in this fast growing county. Thought you can hear progress all around you at times with imagine you can be in an alpine meadow, stand of trees, or viewing a mountain lake looking for that perfect spot to catch a fish.

Although there are no marked trails - there are trails through out the reservoir. In that most of the land use to be a farm their are old roads, fisherman, deer and atv trails.

Keep your eyes and hears open as the following wildlife has been spotted at one time or another, Deer, Geese, Ducks, Eagles, Tundra Swans, and Beaver to name a few.
