Vulkanismus in der Eifel führt. Die Startpunkte liegen in der
Eifel um den Cache
"Höllenschlund". Dieser muss zuerst gefunden werden, weil
seine Nordkoordinaten (NUR°EI,FEL) zum Auffinden der Caches
„RING OF EIFELFIRE“ benötigt werden.
"Esszimmermöbel"
Kelberg liegt in einer geschützten Talmulde und ist von
ausgedehnten Laub- und Nadelwäldern umgeben. Wegen seiner
klimatisch günstigen Lage und der Nähe zum
Nürburgring ist es ein beliebter Touristenort. Über allem
erhebt sich der 675 m hohe Vulkan Hochkelberg.
"Ein-fahr-rein-und-greif-rein-Cache". Wenn du bis hierhin gefahren
bist, hast du eine Pause verdient. Von diesem Esszimmer hast du
einen tollen Blick über Kelberg zum Vulkan Hochkelberg und zum
Cachepunkt. Leider waren z.Z. des Cachelegens die Sitzpolster
entfernt.
Der Cache liegt ca. 80 cm über dem Erdboden bei:
N UR° EL,(E+F)(Tischdurchmesser in Dezimeter ohne
Nachkommastelle)
E 006° (UR+F+E),(2*E) (Tischdurchmesser in Dezimeter ohne
Nachkommastelle)

hints of volcanism in this region. You have to start everytime with
the north-coordinates (NUR°EI,FEL) you will find in the cache
"Höllenschlund".
This is a "drive-in-and-get-it-cache". At the given position you
have time for a short break. You can see the small city Kelberg,
the volcano Hochkelberg and the location of the cache at:
N UR° EL,(E+F)(diameter of the table in unit decimetre without
any positions after the decimal point)
E 006° (UR+F+E),(2*E)(diameter of the table in unit decimetre
without any positions after the decimal point)

A lesson how to make an easy cache very difficult for team Okkebas (and especially Okkebasin). Due to a mistake we needed to make a tour, although not mentioned anywhere it did not totally surprise us after "Basaltimus". So we went brave hearted into a "not so very" wood (according to one of the small Okkebasins) and decided there that this must have been a mistake.... Indeed..... Luckily enough we had our GPS with compass to lead us out of the "not so very" wood. In Kelberg we went for a drink to calm down again, and then back to the beautifull table, where we, of course, found the box quite quickly  .TFTC
