The coordinates given are within 2 miles of the Khachkar and the cache but neither is at that general location. You can park close to both items. However, to avoid compromising the location of the cache please DO NOT park on the street nearest the cache. You can park around the corner and walk. The final few feet should be approached carefully especially by children or at night. However, you do not need to do anything dangerous to reach the cache. The cache is a 4 x 4 Tupperware container.
On July 17, 2005, I replaced the wet log and dried out the container. The original niche containing this cache has broken. The cache is in the same location but is supported differently. Those of us without stretchable, long arms would appreciate it if you could put the cache back exactly as you found it.
Your mission is to find out what a Khachkar is and to locate a particular one. Finding the actual cache should be easy. The hint refers to the Khachkar's location not the location of the cache.
After you locate the Khachkar you will need to solve the following simple puzzle:
The cache is at N 37 18.X, W 122 02.Y
To find X add 130 to the first number on the Khachkar.
To find Y subtract 1296 from the second number on the Khachkar.
I have changed the difficulty level raising it from 1.5 to 2.5
