Geocache Description:

A bit of a hike but spectacular views. You can hike, bike, horseback ride, or walk your dog in from either of two different parks: McNee Ranch SP or San Pedro Valley County Park. For trail maps from both parks you can visit: http://plants.montara.com/maps.html

The first part of this multi is to find a circular bronze marker set into a bit of cement to one side of the trail. If you stand over this marker and look west, right in the cleft between two hills you can see perfectly framed the Farallone Islands. In the picture below, the cleft is visible just to the left of the people in the picture (though the sun washed it out so you can't see the horizon in this pic). If there's low clouds or fog coming all the way to the shore you might not be able to see anything, but on those days where the fog is hanging around just a bit off shore, this framing will point out these islands on the horizon when you otherwise might not notice them. On a really clear day, you'll notice the Farallones even as you hike up.

Now on to the cache! The final cache is just a bit away in a field of rocks with a great view of "Farallone City" (the original name for the town of Montara). It's a round, quart-size container painted camo-green. Note down the numbers on top of the marker, then use them to find the coords of the final cache.
