Geocache Description:

On a sealed road right to the cache site. Adjacent to the Ohaaki Power Station.

Ohaaki Power Station was opened in 1989.

It's most notable feature is its 105m cooling
tower used for the reinjection of water into
the steam field.

The tower cools the water used to condense
the steam as it exits the power turbines.

This station contributes about 750GWH annually
to the country's energy resources.

The cache is small key holder, containing just a log book. You will have to bring your own pen or pencil.
GPS reception can be patchy under the high tension power lines
