Redwood Creek - Palm View Traditional Cache

Cache replaced again on July 24, 2011 It had become damaged due something chewing on the plastic and water got it. Old log removed. And new log placed. replacement cache is located in a flat brushy area, that is exposed to muggles, so care needs to be taken when retrieving and replacing the cache (to make sure it is not visible).

The cache is a smallish camoflauge painted plastic jar that is well hidden from view. Park north of the bridge in the parking area near the log.

Redwood Creek is one of the more popular fishing spots, and you are likely to see someone fishing there most anytime. Nearby are a couple of historical markers, one of which mentions the original green steel bridge over Redwood Creek that was in place up through 1989. The other is a slice of redwood tree complete with historical notes.

The replacment cache does not have a lot of room, but there are some small goodies to be found in it. Just be sure to take something if you want to leave something so there is room for everything.
