Tauhunatara Point (Bay of Plenty) Traditional Cache
team wub: The Dept of Conservation had a lease to allow public access onto this land, this lease has been terminated and it has reverted to private land with no public access, so we must remove the cache forthwith. Thanks to all those that have enjoyed finding our cache over the last 14 years.

A scenic spot on the North West side of Lake Taupo. Finding this cache will require some walking (approx 1hr return).
Turnoff from road located at S 38° 40.876 E 175° 58.371 Drive to far south/east corner of the scenic reserve and park car. Follow signposted walking track Beautiful flat bush walk alongside lake. Take your swimmers, you might like a dip at the point. Follow your instinct as GPS may struggle at times under the trees.
