A regular cache hidden is Stanmore Common.
The cache, a camoed lock and lock and is hidden in the grounds of Stanmore Common.
Stanmore common is a local nature reserve and site of Metropolitan importance for its nature conservation value to London. The Common is mainly an area of secondary woodland with clearings and acid grass land. For those of you more scientifically minded, the geology is "Eocene Claygate Beds with an overlying cap of more recent Pebble Gravels." It’s a pretty cool place to go walking!
