Moria
Awaits
Once again, the coordinates above are false. You
will obtain the correct coordinates by finding the six runes hidden
around "Three Rings for the Elven Kings," all within 70 feet of
that cache, and following the instructions below. The six runes are
on stones, and the cache is among the Dwarves' "Halls of Stone"
themselves.
|
 |
Following is the
key to translating the runes:

You will also
need to know these five things:
- Latitude is silver.
- Longitude is gold.
- The first rune after each decimal point is black.
- The second is purple.
- The third is green.
Note: The purple
is light (fuchsia); if you see a color that could be purple or
black, it's black.
With this information, you can fill in the missing digits below
and find the cache:
N36 27.???
W 78 58.???
By itself, this
should be no more challenging than the cache of the Elven Kings.
The greater difficulty rating here reflects the progressive nature
of this series -- i.e., that you must complete both the first
challenge and this one to find the Dwarf Lords'
cache.
This cache,
aptly, is small, but not a micro. Bearing in mind the Dwarves' love
of silver and gold, we have made this a coin-themed cache,
initially stocked with several interesting coins from around the
world. As well, you will find a log book with, upon its inside
cover, the coordinates of "Nine for Mortal
Men."
