Geocache Description:

The USS Hornet CV-12: "A Heritage of Excellence".

Come take a look the USS Hornet, a floating museum in Alameda. While you might have seen aircraft carriers in the movies, here you can actually experience the decks and halls of one of these huge ships firsthand.

Open daily 10-5, except Tuesday.

The cache site is in the parking lot outside the paid area, with a great view of the ship.
