9:30am, June 4th, 2005.
This was an official MnGCA event. Everyone from everywhere was welcome.
Lester Park Bash had:
- Temporary traditional and multi caches full of trading items.
- A 6-stage punch-out style timed challenge.
- Attendance Raffle.
- Free morning coffee and free lunch.
- Camaraderie from around the state and elsewhere.
- A very beautiful park to explore.
This event was free of charge. Donations to pay for this event and future MnGCA events are accepted.
We had a permit from the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department for the pavilion 10am-3pm. The permit allowed us to use electricity, but we did not have an alcohol permit.
Coffee was donated by Duluth geocacher GonSolo.
Lunch including brats, sauerkraut, chips, soft drinks, water and fresh fruit were donated by Marsha and Silent Bob.

The MnGCA camped around the bottom left corner of this map at Spirit Mountain, which is about 10 miles south of the event.

Prizes were donated by the MnGCA and the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department. They include hats, T-shirts, bumper stickers, MnGCA logbooks and Duluth Huskies tickets.
