This small cache is located in the hills behind Ohlone College in Fremont, California.
I placed this cache on my way back from "Tired of Fremont Micro-Caches" - I saw a path in the distance and wondered what was there. Nothing much, it turns out, but now there's a cache. Starting at the Mission Trailhead near Ohlone College, you can enjoy a nice walk in the hills to find this one. Do not take the Peak Trail, though - take the trail heading north instead. The cache isn't too far in, but there is some elevation involved - more or less, depending on the route you choose. I would not recommend going off the beaten path for this one - instead, go past it on the trail, and when you get to the water trough, loop back on the slightly higer trail. Once you get to the location, though, the cache should be easy to spot (maybe a bit harder once spring arrives). It is in a small plastic container, a bit larger than a deck of cards, and contains:
A log book with pencil
A first-to-find pin
A smaller geocaching pin, and
An Irish Euro coin
