Geocache Description:

Take a walk in the Enchanted Forest and find this two-stage multi cache.

Not far from the civilized cricket players and the bored motorists, in the land of Northshore, there lies a patch of old-growth forest somewhat unromantically named Smith’s Bush. Enter if you dare!

You may park at S 36° 47.489 E 174° 45.046 and enter through the iron gateway. It is rumoured that a wooden guardian at the entrance of the forest dispenses information on the path you are about to tread. Stick to this path! You never know what ferocious four-legged beasts you might encounter if you stray too far. Also mind their keepers as they have keen eyes and sharp ears.

Seriously though, the GPS reception in the park is LOUSY. We did OK on a couple of visits with an external antenna YMMV. The clues should get you to the cache without your GPSr.

You can almost see the first cache from the waypoint above, the waypoint is within 10 metres of the cache, which in turn, is less than 6 metres from the path. It is a film canister containing instructions to the final treasure, an olive-brown 5 litre screw top container.

Please place the final treasure upright when you’re done.

When placed, it contained:
A soft drink bottle fizz spray
“Love You” necklace
An electronic multi-game
A light up ear pick – Now this is pure class! Guaranteed unused
Star Wars puzzle
One pair of chopsticks
A Buddha
A packet of Spiderman II trading cards
