This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

An army surplus match container hidden in what was once a fence.

I must be waxing nostalgic in my dottage, but am attracted to remnants of things near home. The cache site was once a fence hiding some lovely views of the South Bay, but now is just an isolated remnant, as the road was abandoned beyond it. (See Once a Road.) Today, the views were magnificent, one could pick out trees on the ridge line on the other side of the Valley. Easy walkup cache in an area you'll have to yourself. Please replace the covering material to hide the cache. There is just enough room for the log. Do I really have to tell you to bring a pen?
