No need to leave the trail to get this one. You can reach it without steping an inch off the path. Finding the right thing to reach for will be a challenge. No poison oak when placed, but it is wise to always keep an eye out.
There is a beautiful manzanita across the path from the cache. The color of the wood was a deep, rich red, especially today in the rain.
