Geocache Description:

Canadian Northern No. 3

DERAILMENT ZONE!

Small cache hidden along the former Canadian Northern Ottawa-Toronto line.

This cache is located near the scene of a 1984 train derailment. Details inside!

Container is different than others in the series, and is camo'd similar to No. 9.

Do not walk down the railway line here. Trains travel at over 100km/h and are quite silent, especially when approaching from the west. Trust me, I've run into the dude with the pickup truck on the tracks, and he's not very friendly at all. This is the kind of guy who'll call the cops on you!

The cache area appears to flood in the spring, although it was dry when placed. The view of the Jock River and railway bridge is quite nice.
