Quarry Queerie Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Grandalf: I have been far too busy to get back to this one, so I'm going to archive it. That will leave a space for some other cacher to place one - or one day I'll go back there with a new cache.

Geocache Description:

A simple cache not too far from an easy one and a hard one!! So I'm not giving too many hints.

The cache is hidden in a popular reserve (closed at night) - to do with a quarry, as the title suggests. But this one is at or slightly below ground level in a location that is a challenge for those who crave the thrill of finding a cache whilst in the midst of muggles galore. You'll need to keep ears wide open for the crunch of approaching feet!! But I did hide it on an Easter Monday, so its not really that bad. The view over the reserve from this point is wonderful - (and while here you can ponder what Aloha means!!) The cache is hidden under a thin piece of the local product, now covered by a bush.
When placed, the cache contained: Logbook, pencil, sharpener, tube of superglue, pair of shoelaces, frog finger puppet, Vanuatu 1c coin!
