It is now ten years since the cache was placed during which time it has been logged as found 115 times.
Unfortunately recent developments in the forest have made access more difficult by the felling of trees within the cache area. Regretfully it is time to call it a day and archive the cache

Geocache Description:

Pinus plantation with clear running stream. Start point (parking) at S 36° 48.559 E 174° 25.462

A pleasant place to relax in the Summer months. Numerous walking tracks in the forest. Not far from the ‘wild’ west coast beach.

DO NOT attempt to swim in the sea here unless in safe ‘flagged’ area (dangerous undertow in places).
