This is the sister cache to "540 No Exit". This cache is in the Northern part of an area that was zoned for an exit off of Interstate 540, but was never built.
This cache is not very hard to get to, but will require bushwhacking much of the way. Please be mindful of the terrain rating before you take little kids or your Sunday shoes. There is some thick brush and thorny areas. Please don't beat a big path to the cache; the density of the immediate surroundings is part of its charm!
The best place to park is at N35 54.829 W78 45.388 and walk up the hill and take the trail through the clearing to the right. Stay on the path until you can't stand it any longer, then turn off! Walking through people's yards in Leesville Forest or walking through the construction site on ACC Blvd are discouraged (even though they might look slightly shorter), and parking along I-540 is strongly discouraged for safety sake.
Note: It has been reported that there is an open well at N35 54.770 W78 45.278. Please take the appropriate precautions, especially with children.
