Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the southern portion of the Nashua River Rail Trail. It is about a 20 minute walk from the provided parking coordinates. The main portion of the trail is paved. The end of the hunt is an unpaved trail with very little bushwacking at the end.

This is located at the southern end of the Nashua River Rail Trail. The trail is a former railway that has been paved over. It stretches 11 miles from Ayer, MA to the Nashua/Hollis, NH line. The parking coordinates are N 42 33.725 W 71 35.385, reachable from route 495 or route 2.
From those coordinates it is about a mile walk. It is a little faster from the Smith Street entrance, but park at your own risk there. Stay on the main trail until you reach some overhead high voltage power lines. After the lines you will see a dirt bike type trail off to the right. Follow that trail and the last 50-75 feet are bushwacking. This should be an easy find in a traditional cache spot. The cache is a 4 cup Glad tupperwear container. Original contents are: big bouncy ball, hair pins, insect repellent, waterproof adhesive tape, log and pencil.
