Cache is a standard decon container and just off trail a bit.
The Sunol Regional Wilderness area has many trails with most of them starting in the valley and go up. If you are looking for a nice loop of about 3 miles with some moderate climbing, the loop where this cache is located is your answer.
The area has many geological features and from the cache location, you can see a few "sand traps" on the side of the hill that look like they belong on a golf course. That's what we thought anyway, but again we had been hiking in the sun all day.
